J.R. Mello, COA,  joined the Suggs Eye Center team in 2001 and has assisted in over 5000 cataract and refractive surgeries.

Certifications include:

• Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel
• LadarVision 4000 Excimer Laser System
• Ladar Wave Custom Cornea
• Emergency Medical Technician (E.M.T.)

J.R. volunteers as an E.M.T. and participates in B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
